Sysadmin Information

Hardware

There are 2 Dell blade centers, each with 6 blades.

There are 2 primary machines:

  • idgc3grid01 : A 64-bit Rocks 5.2 cluster head node. Most of the blades are compute nodes for this cluster head.

  • idgc3grid02 : A 64-bit Debian machine used as a KVM server.

    • /home/data/vm contains the vm image files

    • /home/data/iso contains the iso images you can use to install new machines

    • /home/data/template-images contains pre-fab install images; you can use virt-clone to create new VMs
